I have had the message “Downloading updates” in my Hue app for a while, what can I do? 

The “Downloading updates” function can take up to two hours per lamp, or accessory. Please be patient and make sure your lights are powered on using the wall switch during this downloading period. When all lights are powered on using the wall switch, please wait up to 24 hours (or twice the amount of lights) before contacting customer support if you experience issues with the software update.
