Yes, you can use any Google Home or Google Nest device to directly connect and control your Philips Hue lights via the Google Assistant. Note: Only Google Home and Google Nest smart speakers and displays support Philips Hue Bluetooth. Third party devices with Google Assistant built-in do not support Philips Hue Bluetooth.

Make sure that your mobile device is connected to the same router to which your Hue Bridge is connected. The router must be able to support Apple’s Bonjour software, which allows you to discover other devices and services on the network. If your router does not support this feature, you will not be able to use HomeKit.

To connect Philips Hue to your Razer Chroma products, you will need:

- The latest Philips Hue app
- An established Entertainment area within the app
- The Razer Synapse 3 app*

*Download and install this app on your PC.

Log in to Razer Synapse 3 using your Razer account and navigate to Modules > Philips Hue. Synapse 3 will automatically search for a Philips Hue Bridge. Click the Pair button on the screen and press the large round button on your Hue Bridge. You can customize your lighting setup within the Philips Hue module in your Razer Synapse 3 program.

Philips Hue and Razer sync via Razer Synapse 3, the software required to run this feature. Partnered games write their own light scripts which trigger the lights in your Razer Chroma and Philips Hue products to react to on-screen, in-game actions.

You can have up to 10 Philips Hue color-capable lights in a single Entertainment area, including Razer setups.

No. Razer is a valued part of the Friends of Hue program; Philips Hue and Razer partner to bring you free-to-use software.

My Razer Synapse 3 doesn't find my Hue Bridge.

Accepted Answer

If your Razer Synapse 3 does not find the Hue Bridge, check to make sure all your devices are connected to the same network. Power cycle your Hue Bridge by unplugging it from the power source for at least 30 seconds, then plugging it back in. When all four blue LED indicators on top of the Hue Bridge come back on, connect it to Razer Synapse 3 again. If you still cannot connect, you can connect manually via the Bridge’s IP address. To find the address, go to www.philips-hue.com/api/nupnp in your web browser.

My Razer Synapse 3 doesn't find my Razer devices.

First, check to be sure your Razer device is Chroma-enabled. If you have a Chroma-enabled device which is not detected by your Synapse 3, you should contact Razer’s customer support at www.support.razerzone.com/software/synapse-3/.
