What do I need to use the Hue nest integration?
The Hue nest integration requires any hue installation inside your home with at least one light source. Since Philips Hue communicates with nest via our clouds, you will need to make sure you have created a Hue account on my.meethue.com and linked your bridge to it. You will also need at least one nest product (nest protect, nest learning thermostat or nest cam) which is properly set with a nest account. Which devices are supported?
The Hue app supports iOS and Android devices. Please check on the App Store or Google Play store which iOS or Android software version is needed to run the Hue app on your device.
Which Philips TVs will support the app?
All Philips Smart TVs with Ambilight for the European markets from 2011 onwards and from 2013 onwards for Latin America support the app.
I get errors during the setup of the Hue nest integration, what should I do?
To set up the Hue nest integration your bridge needs to be reachable via the Philips Hue cloud. Make sure you are able to control your lights from the Philips Hue app, also when your phone's WiFi is off. If this doesn't work, please see www.meethue.com/support/technical . You should also make sure you are using the latest version of your favourite web browser and that your nest app shows your system as connected. Once you've checked this please try again.
Can I control the app via the TV remote control or via my MyRemote app?
For the moment the interaction takes place with a compatible iOS or Android smartphone or tablet.
I've connected my hue and nest accounts. Now what?
The Hue nest settings runs in the background once set up making your hue lights react in a smart way to inputs from the nest system. There are four settings to choose from, once they are enabled they will always be running waiting for the right occasion to trigger them.
Do I need to download a special App to operate my luminaires?
No, if you download the latest version of the app you can control every kind of hue product. Check out the App store or Google play store.
Is Hue Go compatible with my existing or new Hue system. If so, which functionality does it have when part of it?
Yes, Hue Go works as any other Hue product, seamlessly integrated inside the Hue ecosystem.

When Hue Go is connected to a Hue Bridge and controlled by a smart device, you are able to choose white light color temperatures, use 4 Light Recipes (reading, concentrate, energize, relax), color, dimming level, set timers, connect to internet services (e.g. IFTTT), sync with music and Ambilight and use up to 300 3rd party apps.
Can I still use the button on Hue Go after I connect Hue Go to a Hue system?
Yes, the button on Hue Go is designed to work seamlessly within the Hue ecosystem. You can control Hue Go from both the Philips Hue and any 3rd party apps designed for Hue and from the local button on Hue Go.
What is IFTTT?
This super useful service enables you to connect your hue lights to over hundereds of different products and services with IFTTT Recipes. Try Recipes that do all kinds of neat things like: Change your light's color to let you know when it's raining outside. Blink your lights when your favorite sports team starts a new game.
